Chelsea may face limitations when it comes to sending players on loan to Strasbourg, especially if both clubs qualify for the same European competition.

UEFA’s regulations could impose restrictions on such moves due to potential conflicts of interest between affiliated clubs, as reported by The Telegraph.

Despite this, Chelsea and Strasbourg have already laid the groundwork to navigate this possible scenario. Both clubs remain optimistic that any restrictions won’t interfere with their long-term strategies and goals.

Should these regulations be enforced, Chelsea will need to look for an alternative club for midfielder Mathis Amougou, who was expected to join Strasbourg on a season-long loan.
