Joao Felix’s future remains uncertain, with the Chelsea loanee now being linked with a potential move to Galatasaray.

According to Sporx, the Portuguese forward’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has already held talks with the Turkish giants ahead of a possible summer transfer.

Felix, who is currently on loan at AC Milan, has struggled to make a significant impact in Serie A, and an extended stay in Italy appears highly unlikely. The 24-year-old’s time at Chelsea has also been turbulent, with the club unwilling to reintegrate him into their plans under Enzo Maresca.

Mendes has reportedly informed Chelsea that Felix is “keen on joining Galatasaray for the 2025-26 season,” as the Istanbul club prepares for an attacking reshuffle. With Napoli’s Victor Osimhen expected to leave and uncertainty surrounding the futures of Mauro Icardi and Alvaro Morata, Galatasaray are considering Felix as a key addition to their frontline.

However, negotiations may not be straightforward. Galatasaray are looking for a “loan deal with an option to buy,” but they are hesitant to cover Felix’s massive “€9m-per-season salary.” Chelsea, on the other hand, are pushing for a deal that includes a “mandatory obligation to buy” or a permanent transfer, as they seek to offload the forward once and for all.

With Felix eager for a fresh start and Galatasaray exploring their options, it remains to be seen whether both clubs can find common ground in the summer transfer window.
