Chelsea’s search for a prolific striker has taken an interesting turn, with Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres emerging as a prime target for the summer transfer window.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the Swedish forward “will be allowed to leave Sporting in the summer for €60-70 million.” This is significantly lower than his €100 million release clause, thanks to a verbal agreement he has reached with the club.

Gyokeres has been in sensational form this season, attracting interest from several top clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
