Frank Lampard or Eden Hazard; John Terry reveals Chelsea’s best ever player

Chelsea legend John Terry has weighed in on one of the club’s biggest debates—who is the greatest player in Blues history? While many fans have long debated between Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard, the former Chelsea captain has made his choice clear.

Speaking about the two Stamford Bridge icons, Terry said:

“I think Frank Lampard’s our best-ever player. And again for longevity, goals, repetition year after year.”

However, he didn’t downplay Hazard’s brilliance, acknowledging the Belgian’s unique talent:

“Hazard’s our most talented-ever player, but in terms of what he achieved, Lamps goes right at the very top for me.”

While Terry believes Lampard’s consistency and record-breaking achievements make him Chelsea’s greatest, Lampard himself has previously heaped praise on Hazard. The Blues’ all-time top scorer once stated that Hazard is one of the best players he has ever played with.

With both players cementing their places in Chelsea folklore, the debate will continue among fans. But for Terry, Lampard’s numbers and impact over the years give him the edge as the club’s greatest-ever player.
