Jadon Sancho is still expected to complete a permanent move to Chelsea at the end of the season, despite a break clause in his loan deal, according to GiveMeSport.
The agreement between Chelsea and Manchester United includes an obligation to buy if the Blues finish 15th or higher, with the transfer fee set at up to £25 million.
However, reports have surfaced about a break clause that could allow Chelsea to opt out of the deal by paying a significant, yet unspecified, penalty fee.
Despite this, Chelsea are still expected to keep Sancho, viewing the agreed price as a bargain rather than trying to avoid the purchase and still incur a financial penalty.
Unless something changes, Sancho looks set to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond this season.
