Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has sent a strong message to his teammates, urging them to push hard in the final nine games of the season to secure a top-four finish.

Despite the Blues’ frustrating 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, Sanchez remains optimistic about their chances of European qualification and is determined to help the team achieve their goals.

Reflecting on the Arsenal match, the Spanish shot-stopper praised Chelsea’s overall performance but admitted that a better start could have changed the outcome.

“We know we lost and we need to take that home, but we need to keep improving and trying to do our best to get hopefully as many points as we can,” Sanchez said.

Sanchez also stressed the importance of staying focused in the final stretch of the campaign and making crucial saves to keep the team in the contest.

With the March international break now in full swing, Chelsea will be looking to regroup and come back stronger for the decisive run-in.

“If we don’t get top four, myself and everyone in the team will be very disappointed,” Sanchez added, making it clear that the squad remains fully committed to securing a Champions League spot.
