Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has admitted that Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is frustrated with his current situation at the club, as speculation about a potential return to England continues to grow.

The England U21 winger, a former Manchester City trainee, has struggled for consistent playing time at BVB, fuelling interest from Premier League giants Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich are also monitoring his situation closely.

Speaking to BILD, Kehl acknowledged the young winger’s frustration but emphasised his importance to the team:

“You can tell that he is frustrated at the moment. But in the end, it’s about the team—Jamie knows that too. He is still incredibly important for the club and has made himself a difference-maker.”

Despite his limited minutes, Dortmund are keen to maintain a strong squad with internal competition for places, something Kehl sees as a positive.

“But it’s good for us that we have this competitive situation,” he added.

With Chelsea among the clubs eyeing Bynoe-Gittens, the coming months could be crucial in determining his future, as the winger weighs up his options amid growing transfer interest.
