
Some individual brilliance from Chelsea’s season was reflected at the 2025 London Football Awards, with Cole Palmer and Sonia Bompastor securing major honours.
Palmer, 22, was named Premier League Player of the Year after a stellar campaign, beating Arsenal’s Gabriel, Brentford duo Bryan Mbeumo and Mikkel Damsgaard, and Fulham’s Antonee Robinson. The attacking midfielder also won Goal of the Season for his stunning free-kick in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Brighton.
Sonia Bompastor continued her unbeaten run in the WSL since taking over from Emma Hayes, earning her the Manager of the Year award. Meanwhile, Guro Reiten claimed WSL Player of the Year, reinforcing Chelsea Women’s dominance.

Young forward Aggie Beever-Jones was named Women’s Young Player of the Year for the second successive season, further highlighting the club’s bright future.
Elsewhere, Tottenham’s Archie Gray was awarded Men’s Young Player of the Year, Arsenal’s David Raya won Goalkeeper of the Year, and AFC Wimbledon’s Matty Stevens was named EFL Player of the Year.
Beyond the pitch, Sir Gareth Southgate received the Power of Football Award, while Chris Ramsey was honoured for his contributions to the sport. Brentford’s Community Sports Trust also earned recognition, winning a Community Award for their Bee a Hero campaign.
