February 17 marked exactly two months since the shocking news that Mykhailo Mudryk tested positive for doping emerged. Since then, the Chelsea winger has drastically reduced his public appearances and social media activity.

To put it simply, we barely know what Mudryk looks like right now. Maybe he got a new tattoo, or perhaps he changed his hairstyle. But beyond speculation, his public presence has been minimal. He has only appeared in two notable events, made a single Instagram post addressing the situation, and largely kept silent since.

Mudryk Attended Oleksandr Usyk’s Fight

Just days after his positive doping test was reported, Mudryk traveled to Riyadh to watch Oleksandr Usyk’s fight against Tyson Fury. The Chelsea star had a front-row seat alongside Polissya president Hennadiy Butkevych and even met Usyk’s wife, Kateryna.

This was one of his rare public outings, but he didn’t engage with the media or post anything about it.

Chelsea Winger Spotted at Trubin’s Wedding

Two days after the fight, Mudryk was in Portugal to visit national teammate Anatoliy Trubin. But his trip wasn’t just about a friendly catch-up—he was there to attend Trubin’s wedding. Maksym Taloverov was also present.

While Mudryk remained silent, his presence was revealed through videos shared on Taloverov’s Instagram. Everyone appeared to be in high spirits at the wedding, and after the event, Taloverov joked: “The day we lost a friend…”

The wedding took place on December 26. Since then, Mudryk has completely disappeared from the public eye.

Mudryk’s New Obsession: CS2

If he’s not making public appearances, what has Mudryk been doing? It turns out he has picked up Neymar’s favorite hobby—Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).

For those unfamiliar, Neymar has spent an astonishing 11,000 hours—over 450 days—playing the game. Mudryk is nowhere near that level, but he has been grinding CS2 heavily in February.

According to CS stats, Mudryk has played 32 games on FACEIT (a platform for competitive play) and over 15 matches in “Premier” mode (CS2’s ranked system).

His preferred playstyle? Sniping with the AWP. His favorite maps include Mirage, Inferno, and Ancient.

Mudryk currently holds a 1.09 kill-to-death ratio, which suggests he’s holding his own in the competitive scene. On FACEIT, he has reached level 7 out of 10, while in Premier mode, he has 17,000 points—a pretty high score.

For now, Chelsea fans may not see much of Mudryk on the pitch, but he’s clearly dominating in CS2.
