Chelsea have suffered multiple injury setbacks since the January transfer window closed, with Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu both sidelined.

However, despite these issues, head coach Enzo Maresca remains firm in his stance that the club does not regret allowing João Félix to leave on loan to AC Milan.

Speaking last week, Maresca dismissed the notion that Chelsea are feeling the absence of the Portuguese forward, stating:

“I don’t think we miss João. João is happy there, and we are happy João is happy there.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s struggles on the pitch have continued, with the Blues suffering back-to-back defeats against Brighton. The first loss saw Chelsea eliminated from the FA Cup, while the second further dented Chelsea’s Premier League campaign, pushing them further down the table.

With injuries piling up and results faltering, some may question whether Félix could have provided an extra attacking spark. However, Maresca remains unwavering in his belief that Chelsea made the right call in letting him go.
