AC Milan are not ruling out the possibility of signing Joao Felix on a permanent deal from Chelsea, as club legend and senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic hinted at a potential transfer.
Felix, who is currently on a six-month loan from Chelsea, has already expressed his desire to stay at San Siro beyond this season. Speaking ahead of Milan’s next fixture, he made his intentions clear, stating: “For now, it’s just six months, but you never know in football.”
When asked about Milan’s stance on securing a full transfer for the Portuguese forward, Ibrahimovic left the door open for future negotiations. “A full transfer for Felix? Everything is possible. We want to trust Joao, see his best performances, and then—anything is possible,” he said.
Felix has been in impressive form for Milan, since joining them. His performances have sparked growing interest from the Rossoneri in making his move permanent.
While no buy option was included in the loan agreement, Milan’s willingness to explore a deal suggests that talks with Chelsea could take place in the coming months. With both Felix and Milan showing mutual interest in an extended stay, the prospect of a full transfer remains very much on the table.
