Chelsea’s highly-rated youngster, Kendry Paez, has arrived at Cobham to begin his adaptation to European football ahead of his official move to the Blues in June, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 17-year-old Ecuadorian prodigy, currently at Independiente del Valle, will spend the next few months working under Chelsea’s coaching staff as part of a structured transition plan. The move is aimed at helping him acclimatise to the demands of European football before joining Chelsea permanently.
Paez’s current club has agreed to this period of adaptation, with their sporting director Luis Saritama confirming the arrangement. He also hinted that the young midfielder may not feature for Independiente del Valle again before completing his move to Stamford Bridge.
Paez has already built a strong reputation in Ecuador, scoring eight goals in 41 appearances last season. His performances have sparked immense excitement among Chelsea fans, who are eager to see him make an impact in England.
With his arrival at Cobham, Chelsea are ensuring that Paez gets a head start on his European journey, setting the stage for what could be a bright future at the club.
