Chelsea have been urged to “find a way” to cancel their transfer agreement for Jadon Sancho, with former Manchester United and England defender Paul Parker claiming the Blues “must be regretting” signing him.

Sancho joined Chelsea on a season-long loan from Manchester United last summer, with a clause that makes his move permanent for £20-25 million at the end of the season. However, the 24-year-old has struggled to make an impact, scoring just two goals, and his latest controversy has drawn criticism from Parker.

Following his Aston Villa debut, Marcus Rashford posted on Instagram, and Sancho responded with the word “freedom”—a clear dig at Manchester United, his parent club.

Parker, speaking to MyBettingSites, did not hold back in his criticism of Sancho’s attitude.

“Jadon Sancho reminds me of a weak little boy who is using someone else to air his grievances,” Parker said.

“I hope Rashford is smart enough to stay out of it. Even his PR team should know better than to let him get involved in this nonsense.”

Parker believes Sancho is trying to divert attention away from his own performances rather than focusing on improving his game.

“Sancho is trying to shift focus away from himself, but in reality, he should be looking in the mirror.

“It was the wrong timing. Is he still trying to align himself with Rashford? Because Rashford would be foolish to go down that path.”

The former United defender also highlighted how Chelsea fans have turned on Sancho, questioning why he is creating more problems for himself.

“Sancho has been ridiculed by Chelsea fans. He should be focused on improving his game instead of alienating himself further.”

He went on to suggest that Chelsea are already regretting their commitment to sign him permanently.

“Chelsea must be regretting the fact that they have to buy him. They’ll probably be begging United to find a way out of the deal.

“Chelsea will be looking to get rid of him as soon as possible. Finding a club willing to take him will be a challenge.”

Parker believes that Sancho’s troubles at Manchester United were not just a result of poor management, but rather his own shortcomings.

“He’s brought this upon himself. I hope Rashford realises that Sancho is trying to drag him into unnecessary problems and tells him to stop. He needs to take a long, hard look at himself.

“At first, I thought he had personal issues with his managers. But they all had the same opinion of him – they didn’t play him. Now, he’s trying to make the club the villain instead.”

With Sancho struggling at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea’s form dipping, the club now faces a major dilemma over whether to push forward with his permanent signing or attempt to escape the agreement with Manchester United.
