Chelsea were handed a 3-0 beating away at Brighton, as the Blues will lose their fourth place position after this weekend round of matches.
With just 14 matches remaining in the campaign, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has acknowledged the urgency of a turnaround.
“In the moment and position we are, 14 games to go, probably we need to do much, much better than what we’ve done tonight,” he said.
The defeat to Brighton further compounds Chelsea’s struggles this season, with mounting pressure on Maresca to spark a late-season revival.
With expectations high, the Blues will need to show a drastic improvement in form if they hope to salvage something from a challenging campaign.
