Former Chelsea striker Loic Remy has advised Christopher Nkunku to consider a fresh start in the summer, either through a loan or a permanent move, following a challenging season at Stamford Bridge.

“I think it would be best for him to get a fresh start in the summer, whether that is a loan or a permanent move,” Remy stated.

Nkunku, who arrived at Chelsea with high expectations, has shown glimpses of his quality but has struggled with consistency and injuries. Despite managing 11 goals and 4 assists in 30 appearances, his impact has not been as transformative as many had hoped.

“Sometimes things don’t work out, and it’s wrong to try and force it. I think he can bounce back elsewhere,” Remy added.

Chelsea’s attacking options have been under scrutiny this season, and while Nkunku remains a talented player, his future at the club could be uncertain if the Blues decide to reshape their squad. Whether Chelsea will heed Remy’s advice remains to be seen, but the summer transfer window could be pivotal for Nkunku’s career trajectory.
