Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has acknowledged that his team is not yet capable of challenging across all competitions following their FA Cup exit.

Speaking after their elimination, Maresca was candid about the club’s current state:

“In this moment we are not ready to compete in four competitions,” he admitted.

Despite the setback, the Italian remains optimistic about the future, emphasising the long-term vision for the club.

“Our goal, our duty is to bring this club to win or compete in four competitions, but at this moment, we are not ready.”

However, Maresca is confident that Chelsea will soon reach the level required to compete for multiple trophies.

“Am I confident it will happen? Absolutely, in the next years,” he assured.

Chelsea’s struggles this season have highlighted the need for further squad development, but Maresca’s comments suggest a long-term project is in motion at Stamford Bridge.
