Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has acknowledged the team’s recent struggles but remains determined to help the squad regain their momentum.
“I think we started well,” Palmer admitted. “We had a little bit of a dip but we’re just trying to find our form again.”
Despite Chelsea’s inconsistency in recent weeks, Palmer remains optimistic about the direction of the team under Enzo Maresca, whom he previously worked with at Manchester City.
“I knew Enzo previously, so to work with him again is amazing,” he said. “Obviously, the head coach has given us all the ideas, we’ve just got to execute it.”
The 22-year-old also spoke about his relationship with Maresca and his teammates, emphasising the strong bond within the squad.
“My relationship is good with the head coach and my team-mates. We’re all close.”
With Chelsea looking to bounce back from their FA Cup exit and mixed league form, Palmer will play a key role in helping the Blues find their rhythm again.
