Cole Palmer has credited Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca for helping him settle quickly at Stamford Bridge, highlighting their strong relationship from their previous time together at Manchester City.

Speaking about his experience working under Maresca, Palmer expressed his admiration for the Italian manager and the impact he has had on the squad.

“I knew Enzo previously, so to work with him again is amazing. Obviously, the head coach has given us all the ideas, we’ve just got to execute it.”

Palmer also emphasised the strong bond within the team, which has been key to Chelsea’s development this season.

“My relationship is good with the head coach and my teammates. We’re all close.”
