Joao Felix has dropped a bombshell that will leave Chelsea fans stunned, admitting he’d love to make his loan move to AC Milan permanent.

The Portuguese forward, who sealed a £45 million switch to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid last summer, has struggled to cement his place in Enzo Maresca’s plans. Despite scoring seven goals in 20 appearances this season, Felix started just three Premier League matches, leading to his mid-season loan departure.

AC Milan swooped in, paying a reported £5 million loan fee for the 25-year-old, and Felix wasted no time making an impression—scoring a debut goal in a 3-1 win over Roma and quickly becoming a fan favorite at the San Siro.

Now, the Chelsea man on loan at AC Milan has hinted he’s ready to ditch the Blues for good.

“For now, I’m on loan until June, we’ll see how it goes,” Felix said in a press conference. “I’m liking everything: the club, the people, the infrastructure. My family and I have received a great welcome, and I want to be in a place where I feel good.

“Things can change in football, but if there’s the chance to stay here, I’d like that.”

Felix’s comments raise questions about his future at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea fans wonder if the club will attempt to reintegrate him or cut their losses after just one season. With Milan reportedly keen on a permanent deal, Felix’s days in blue could be numbered.
