Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been included in the club’s squad for the Conference League knockout phase, despite currently serving a provisional suspension for a positive doping test, according to The Athletic.

Mudryk has not featured for Chelsea since early December after testing positive for a banned substance. 

The outcome of his ‘B’ sample, which will determine whether the 24-year-old faces further punishment, is still pending.

Despite the uncertainty, Chelsea’s decision to keep Mudryk on the Conference League roster suggests the club remains optimistic about his chances of returning to action.
