
West Ham manager Graham Potter has praised Enzo Maresca’s impact at Chelsea, acknowledging the club’s progress ahead of their Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge.
“They are a tactically well-prepared team, Enzo Maresca has done a great job with that, and they’ve done a great job as a club in terms of stabilising and rejuvenating the squad,” Potter said.
The West Ham boss remains confident in his team’s approach to playing Chelsea.
He said: “It’s a tough game – they’re competing to be in the Champions League. We have to play to the strengths we have, and we go there with optimism, encouragement, and enthusiasm.”
Chelsea currently sit 6th in the Premier League with 40 points from 23 games, keeping them firmly in the race for a top-four finish.
