Chelsea fans have voiced their opinions on whether Robert Sanchez is the right choice for a title-chasing team, with many suggesting alternatives, including Kepa Arrizabalaga, Djordje Petrovic and Filip Jorgensen.
Nick believes the club should turn to Jorgensen instead of bringing Kepa back:
“While Kepa would be a (slight) upgrade on Sanchez, rather than bring him back from his loan, Chelsea should make more use of Filip Jorgensen. Why spend £20m on a goalkeeper who made the most saves in La Liga last season and not play him? Jorgensen can’t be judged on just the odd cup or Conference League game and deserves a run of 10 or more Premier League games to show he can cut the mustard.”
Tom questions why the debate is limited to Kepa or Sanchez, highlighting another overlooked option:
“Why is the conversation Kepa or Sanchez when we have a great keeper in Djordje Petrovic and as he’s at Strasbourg, he’d probably be easier to recall?”

Scott firmly backs Arrizabalaga over Sanchez, criticising the Spaniard’s performances:
“I would take Arrizabalaga over Sanchez any day of the week. There is a good keeper in Arrizabalaga—he just needs honing. Sanchez, however, gives away three opportunities for the opposition to score almost every match, and this cannot continue if Chelsea are to have any chance at success.”
Rebecca is unconvinced Sanchez has the quality needed for a title-winning team, comparing him to Chelsea’s legendary goalkeepers:
“I don’t think Sanchez is good enough to be part of a title-winning team. When I think back to other world-class keepers we’ve had in the past—Petr Cech, Thibaut Courtois, and Edouard Mendy—a top goalie wins you games, and Sanchez isn’t capable of performing at that high level on a consistent basis.”
John echoes the calls for Petrovic, insisting Chelsea should bring him back immediately:
“Petrovic was our best keeper last season. Madness he didn’t start this season. We need him back quickly.”
With mounting pressure on Sanchez, the debate over Chelsea’s No.1 spot continues to intensify.
