Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei remains in transfer limbo as Lazio continue negotiations but have yet to reach an agreement on personal terms, according to Fabrizio Romano.

While the Serie A club is keen on signing the 21-year-old Italian, discussions over his contract are ongoing, leaving room for other suitors to make their move.

Torino and Fiorentina have previously been linked with Casadei, but Romano reports that additional clubs have recently contacted Chelsea about his availability.

Casadei, who joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in 2022, is now available for a permanent transfer, potentially ending his time at Stamford Bridge after two and a half years. With Lazio struggling to finalise terms, Chelsea could see more offers coming in for the highly-rated midfielder in the coming days.
