Chelsea are exploring the possibility of signing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho before the end of the January transfer window.
According to reports from Argentina, the 20-year-old favours a move to Stamford Bridge over Napoli, who have already seen a bid rejected.
Manchester United initially set Garnacho’s price at £70 million but have now reportedly reduced their asking price to €65 million (£54.8 million) following further talks with Napoli. Despite the Italian club’s interest, Garnacho’s priority is to remain in the Premier League.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Garnacho’s agents were spotted at Stamford Bridge on Monday night during Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Wolves. However, while Chelsea’s interest is clear, they are yet to make an official bid for the Argentine winger.
The final decision on Garnacho’s future will depend on whether Chelsea proceed with their interest in the coming days, leaving fans eager to see if the Blues will make their move before the transfer deadline.
