Chelsea and Juventus have reached an agreement for the loan of Renato Veiga, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The deal, finalised with a €5 million loan fee, will see Veiga join the Serie A giants until June 2025.

Romano confirmed the move on Twitter, stating, “Juventus agree deal with Chelsea to sign Renato Veiga, here we go! Loan deal for €5m loan fee until June, no buy option clause – and then player back to Chelsea at the end of June for Clubs’ World Cup.”

The versatile player, expected to feature as a centre-back at Juventus, reportedly refused a permanent exit from Stamford Bridge, despite Chelsea initially favouring a sale over a loan. Veiga’s decision underscores his commitment to returning to Chelsea after the temporary stint in Italy.
