Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca addressed questions about his attacking players’ goal contributions, expressing confidence in his team’s offensive capabilities while acknowledging room for improvement.

“It’s not always about rotation,” Maresca began. “It’s funny because I think we are the second or third best attacking team in the Premier League.

“We are talking like we need goals because we don’t score goals. We do score goals, and we score many goals. But with the way the team is playing, we can score even more goals, and I believe we will.”

The manager defended forward Nicolas Jackson’s contributions despite some missed opportunities. “It is not just about Nico. Nico is creating chances, and while he is missing some, he is still involved,” Maresca noted.

Nicolas Jackson has hit a barren run of late, with his last goal coming in the 2-1 win over Brentford back in December. Nicolas Jackson has now gone six consecutive games without a goal, and 1 goal in his last eight appearances for Chelsea.
