Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca addressed questions about his attacking players’ goal contributions.

Chelsea have been a high scoring side this season, with Enzo Maresca expressing confidence in his team’s offensive capabilities while acknowledging room for improvement.

With Nicolas Jackson currently on a barren run, Maresca emphasised the need for improvement among the wingers, specifically pointing to opportunities that players like Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho are not converting.

He said: “Probably, in terms of the wingers, we could improve.

“For the number of times we get into good positions and create one-v-one opportunities inside the box—like with Pedro or Sancho—we should be scoring more.”

Looking ahead, Maresca expressed optimism about his team’s finishing ability. “Hopefully, they can start converting more chances,” he concluded.
