Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has dismissed the idea of signing a new striker, expressing full confidence in Nicolas Jackson despite the team’s recent struggles in front of goal.

When asked about the possibility of bringing in a big centre-forward, Maresca responded, “No, because I think by being a little bit more lucky, we can convert and can score more goals.”

He emphasised his belief in Jackson’s potential, saying, “It’s not about (signing) a ‘killer’. In this moment, the one that’s probably missing the goal is Nico.”

Maresca added, “But the way he is working is fantastic, and we don’t have any doubt that Nico is soon going to start scoring goals.”

The Chelsea boss remains optimistic that Jackson will soon find his scoring form, alleviating the need for additional reinforcements.
