Torino are preparing to table a new and improved offer for Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Serie A side previously had a £15 million bid rejected by Chelsea, but they remain determined to secure the permanent transfer of the 21-year-old. While the Blues are open to selling Casadei for the right price, no agreement has been reached yet.
Chelsea are reportedly holding out for a fee closer to their valuation of the player, which is higher than his current Transfermarkt value of €10 million. Torino’s upcoming bid is expected to align more closely with Chelsea’s demands as they look to finalise the deal.
Casadei, regarded as a promising talent, could be set for a return to Serie A if Torino succeed in their pursuit.
