Rio Ferdinand has heaped praise on Cole Palmer’s audacious goal for Chelsea in their 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, labelling the strike as “rude” and “out of order.”

Palmer opened the scoring at Stamford Bridge with a moment of brilliance. After Nicolas Jackson’s impressive hold-up play and perfectly weighted through ball, Palmer dummied a shot, leaving the Bournemouth goalkeeper on the ground, before calmly rolling the ball into an empty net.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Ferdinand expressed his admiration for the 22-year-old’s audacity:

“It’s rude. It was rude. It’s out of order, it’s in the school playground you do that. It’s rude, outrageous really.”

The former Manchester United defender went on to describe Palmer as a must-watch player:

“I’ll pay to watch him every day of the week because I know I’m going to get something like that that will get me off my seat and make me scream.”

Palmer’s performance continues to underline his growing importance at Chelsea, showcasing the flair and creativity that make him a standout talent in the Premier League.
