Reece James has expressed confidence in Chelsea’s ability to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League despite their 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

Speaking to the BBC after the match, the Chelsea captain highlighted the team’s performances against strong opposition as a reason for optimism.

“I think it is realistic if you look at how we play,” James said. “When we have played against the top teams, we don’t shy away. We take it one game at a time and see where we will end up at the end of the season.”

Chelsea retained their place in the top four following the draw but face the risk of dropping out if Newcastle win their mid-week fixture.

James’ comments reflect the team’s belief in their potential to compete at the highest level and maintain their position in the league standings. However, it’s time to start turning draws into wins.
