Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance following their commanding 5-0 FA Cup win over Morecambe. 

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Maresca highlighted the team’s focus and determination.

“Very professional and very serious. I am very happy for the performance and for the final result,” he said.

Maresca acknowledged the challenge posed by a well-prepared Morecambe side but noted how the game shifted after Chelsea’s opener.

“Today all the teams are well-organised and can prepare the game in the way they want. When we scored the game changed and second half we were better,” he added.

The victory marked another step forward for Maresca’s side as they continue their pursuit of success across multiple competitions.
