Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has dismissed any speculation linking Cole Palmer with a move to Manchester United, stating the player is fully committed to Chelsea and their exciting young project.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, Nevin addressed the potential lure of United for Palmer, who has been an integral part of Chelsea since his summer move from Manchester City:

“Cole Palmer’s support for Manchester United is gone,” Nevin said. “There’s no way he’d want to leave a vibrant young team like Chelsea for the current Manchester United, despite their good performance against Liverpool.”

Nevin emphasised that Palmer’s focus is firmly on his role at Chelsea and building a future with the club, though he admitted a slight possibility that United might hold some appeal much later in Palmer’s career:

“Maybe some part of him might want to go there at the end of his career, but that really won’t be in his mind.”

The comments underline Palmer’s commitment to Chelsea’s long-term vision, with the midfielder thriving in a team built around youthful talent and fresh ambition.

For now, it seems clear that Palmer has no intention of leaving Stamford Bridge, especially for a Manchester United side that remains a work in progress.
