Chelsea’s summer signing Renato Veiga is reportedly growing frustrated with his lack of regular starts in the Premier League, despite being a frequent presence in the matchday squad.
The Portugal international’s frustration has been highlighted by Graeme Bailey, who told The Chelsea Chronicle: “Veiga is an interesting one. Obviously, Chelsea don’t want to let him go, but he is frustrated apparently. I don’t see Chelsea letting him out.”
Veiga’s situation became more complex after being left out of the Boxing Day squad for disciplinary reasons, although that issue appears to have been resolved without further escalation.
Bailey also commented on Chelsea’s reluctance to part ways with the 21-year-old: “They don’t want to let Veiga go, but we’ll see how that one goes.”
As the January transfer window unfolds, Veiga’s future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain, with Chelsea reportedly unwilling to let him leave despite his frustrations.
