Chelsea defender Renato Veiga, who joined the Blues for £12 million from Basel last summer, is drawing interest from Premier League rivals Wolves and Bournemouth, as well as European clubs Stuttgart, Napoli, and Juventus.

The versatile 21-year-old, capable of playing as a full-back or centre-back and even midfield, has struggled for first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge.

With Chelsea eyeing Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi to bolster their defence, Veiga could be allowed to leave permanently just six months after his arrival.

Bournemouth would need to make the move permanent, as they already have Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan. Meanwhile, Wolves, who are close to signing Emmanuel Agbadou from Reims, view Veiga as an ideal addition to strengthen their squad further.

Chelsea are also fielding interest for other players, with midfielder Cesare Casadei attracting offers from clubs in Holland and Germany after Torino’s initial bid fell short. Veiga’s future will likely be clarified as the January transfer window unfolds.
