Chelsea urged to revive interest in this Portugal star

Chelsea are gearing up for another active transfer window, with potential arrivals and exits expected at Stamford Bridge. While defensive reinforcements like Marc Guehi are being considered, the club could also benefit from strengthening their attack for the second half of the season.

One player who should top their shortlist is AC Milan’s Rafael Leao. The 25-year-old Portugal international was a priority target for Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali during their early tenure, with the duo reportedly holding talks with then-AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini.

Although a deal never materialised, Leao remains a standout talent. Known for his dangerous dribbling and goal-scoring ability, he offers versatility by playing both as a winger and a striker.

If Chelsea are looking to bolster their forward line this month, reviving their pursuit of Leao could provide the attacking edge they need.
