Micah Richards has praised Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho for his recent resurgence in form, crediting the Englishman for rebuilding his confidence and finding his feet in the Premier League.

However, the pundit has also set a clear challenge for Sancho: to deliver top performances on a consistent basis.

Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, Richards said:

“Sancho is playing well, by the way… He’s really got his confidence back. The manager believes in him. He’s believing in himself again. It’s good to see that he’s had a little bit of adversity in his life, and he’s come back. He’s come back strong.

“I still think he needs to do it on a consistent basis; we’re talking 10-15 games.”

Sancho has made 15 appearances for Chelsea this season across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing six assists. While his contributions so far are steady, especially after his struggles at Manchester United, the talented winger is expected to push for more.

Chelsea are reportedly thrilled with Sancho’s transfer, viewing it as a significant piece of business. The club believes the 23-year-old has settled well into his new surroundings and hope he can now build on his form in the second half of the season.
