Chelsea are reportedly taking proactive steps to reshape their attacking options this January, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealing that the club is already searching for a replacement for Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Ukrainian winger is currently embroiled in a doping scandal after his initial test (sample A) returned a positive result. Although the outcome of sample B analysis is pending, Chelsea reportedly have little expectation of a favourable resolution. As a result, Mudryk has been suspended from training, and the club is preparing for his potential absence.
Adding to Chelsea’s concerns is Christopher Nkunku’s dissatisfaction with his role at the club. The French attacker is rumoured to be exploring a move elsewhere, and Chelsea appear open to facilitating his departure. This has further accelerated the club’s plans to overhaul their attacking line during the winter transfer window.
With a focus on revamping the squad, Chelsea are expected to make significant moves to address these issues and maintain their attacking threat as the season progresses.
