Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei is edging closer to a move to Torino, with the Italian club keen to sign the 21-year-old this month.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Casadei has approved the transfer, although Chelsea and Torino are yet to agree on a fee. The Blues are asking for €20m (£16.6m), while Torino’s current offer stands at €12m (£9.9m).

Casadei, who joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in 2022, has struggled for first-team opportunities under Enzo Maresca. With no Premier League appearances this season, the midfielder is now looking for a fresh start.
Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola recently expressed admiration for Casadei’s potential, stating: “I have high esteem of him. I saw him playing youth level. I saw him in Leicester. I really like it. He really needs to have a chance. The competition is strong in Chelsea, but strong competition makes a strong player. I hope he can make it.”
