We work on this in training – Jadon Sancho wants one thing from his teammates

Jadon Sancho has called on Chelsea to sharpen their finishing in front of goal following their 1-1 Premier League draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Despite dominating the game and creating several opportunities, the Blues failed to secure all three points, leaving Sancho frustrated.

Speaking after the match, the winger highlighted Chelsea’s inability to convert chances as a key factor in the disappointing result. “We work on the training ground to give Nico [Jackson], Cole [Palmer], Pedro [Neto], and me the opportunities to get shots on goal,” Sancho said.

“We created good chances, we just have to be more clinical.”

Chelsea took an early lead through Cole Palmer but were unable to extend their advantage despite controlling much of the first half. The lack of a second goal proved costly as Crystal Palace equalised late in the game, capitalising on a rare error in Chelsea’s midfield.

Sancho acknowledged the unforgiving nature of the Premier League: “If you don’t take your chances in the Premier League, it’s never over until the last minute.”
