Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has stressed the importance of unity and resilience, asserting that talent alone is not enough for his team to challenge for the Premier League title.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on January 4, Maresca highlighted the need for his players to come together during challenging times.

“You don’t need only good players. The talent is not enough. You need to add more things, like togetherness and becoming a team in a difficult moment,” Maresca said.

As the Blues look to recover from recent setbacks, Maresca’s focus remains on building a cohesive and resilient team capable of competing at the highest level. The upcoming clash with Crystal Palace will be a crucial test of their progress.

  1. The whole team energy level is low and the physicality is average in the last few matches. The premier league thrives on everything football, especially speed and physicality. Clinical finishing is very important. Mr. Jackson go watch the chances you squandered in the Palace game and see if you had not thrown away two valuable points.
