Premier League legend Alan Shearer has tipped Chelsea and Crystal Palace to share the spoils when they face off at Selhurst Park on January 4.

Shearer highlighted Chelsea’s recent struggles, which have seen the Blues draw against Everton and suffer two consecutive losses after Christmas.

“A month ago, I would have backed Chelsea without a doubt,” Shearer explained.

“They’ve had one or two struggles of late, so I’m going to go for a score-draw in this game. Palace in forward positions might cause one or two problems for Enzo Maresca’s side.”
