Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has hailed the potential of young prospect Aaron Anselmino, emphasising the club’s intention to focus on his development after recalling him from a loan spell at Boca Juniors.

Speaking about the 19-year-old defender, Maresca expressed confidence in Anselmino’s ability and outlined the importance of easing his transition back to Stamford Bridge.

“He’s another talent, another good player,” Maresca remarked. “Now the most important thing is that he arrives here, adapts himself, finds a house, and settles in the right way.”

The manager also stressed the challenges that come with adjusting to a new environment. “Then we need to give him time because when you come from the other part of the world, you need to adapt. You need to see a new world, a new culture. For sure we are going to try to help him to adapt as soon as possible,” he added.

Anselmino had been gaining valuable experience in Argentina with Boca Juniors, but Chelsea have decided to bring him back for further assessment, signalling the club’s commitment to his growth as a player.
