Cesare Casadei’s potential departure from Chelsea is gathering momentum, with multiple clubs expressing serious interest in the young Italian midfielder.

According to Mail Sport, Torino, Monza, Lazio, and Leicester City have emerged as the frontrunners in the race to sign Casadei.

The 20-year-old has shown promise playing predominantly in Chelsea’s B team this season but has struggled to secure consistent opportunities with the first team. 

With Romeo Lavia now back to fitness, Chelsea could be open to sending Casadei out on a six-month loan, possibly back to Italy, where he could gain valuable first-team experience.

This move could offer the midfielder a chance to develop further while Chelsea continue to manage their squad depth for the remainder of the season. As interest grows, Casadei’s future will be one to watch in the January transfer window.
