As of Matchweek 19 in the Premier League, Chelsea have accumulated the highest number of yellow cards, totaling 58 for the 2024/2025 season.
This disciplinary record surpasses that of Southampton, who have received 57 yellow cards, and Ipswich Town, with 48.
Notably, Chelsea has been fined multiple times this season for accumulating six or more yellow cards in individual matches. Incidents against Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle United have led to fines totalling £150,000.
Despite these disciplinary challenges, Chelsea’s manager, Enzo Maresca, has expressed satisfaction with the team’s fighting spirit and performance.
However, the club is on course to break its own record of 105 yellow cards set in the previous season under Mauricio Pochettino.
