Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has downplayed any notion of a Premier League title challenge, emphasising that discussions within the team are centred around progress and development under Enzo Maresca.
“What we do talk about is the growth that we’ve made this season since the gaffer came in, and the amazing changes he’s made and the system that we’re playing,” Adarabioyo told Sky Sports.
The 26-year-old added, “And we’re taking each step as it comes literally. And we go into each game thinking, we need to perform in this game and try to get three points.”
Despite recent setbacks, with Chelsea picking up just one point from their last three matches, Adarabioyo stressed the importance of maintaining focus.
Chelsea currently sit 10 points behind Liverpool in the table, making a title challenge unlikely. Instead, the team is prioritising their primary objective of securing a top-four finish.
