Revealed: The 5 Chelsea players expected to leave in January transfer window

Chelsea

Chelsea are preparing to offload five players in the January transfer window, according to the BBC.

Among the senior players, Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka have been made available for permanent transfers. However, any deal for Chukwuemeka will require his £40 million release clause to be paid in full.

Cesare Casadei is expected to leave on loan, with clubs such as Feyenoord and Monza expressing interest. Chelsea view a temporary move as the best option for the Italian midfielder to gain more experience.

In the youth setup, Harvey Vale is set for a permanent departure as his contract expires in six months. Chelsea are willing to let him go for a nominal fee, potentially including a sell-on clause. Alex Matos, another academy prospect, is also on the list of players available for a permanent exit.

However, the club has clarified that other emerging talents like Omari Kellyman and Marc Guiu are not part of these plans and will remain at Stamford Bridge.
