Recent speculation suggested that Chelsea might reconsider Joao Felix’s future, given his limited involvement in the Premier League this season.

The forward, who joined Chelsea on a permanent deal just four months ago, has only started two league matches and made seven appearances as a substitute. Notably, he hasn’t featured in the competition for the past three weeks.

However, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has downplayed any notion of a January exit for the Portuguese star.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Romano stated, “Joao has just arrived on a permanent deal four months ago, I don’t see Chelsea changing their stance on Joao in January. At the moment, the situation is completely calm.”

Despite the speculation, it seems Chelsea remain committed to giving Felix time to settle and contribute under manager Enzo Maresca.
