Fulham’s in-house commentary team captured the dramatic moments of their side’s Boxing Day comeback against Chelsea, but it was their fiery remarks on Chelsea star Pedro Neto that stole the spotlight.
The Blues took an early lead when Cole Palmer struck in the 16th minute, but Marco Silva’s Fulham side refused to back down. Their relentless pressure eventually paid off as Harry Wilson headed home the equaliser in the 82nd minute, sparking wild celebrations.
The equalising goal came amidst controversy, with Fulham fans relishing an incident that unfolded moments earlier. As Alex Iwobi outpaced Neto on the left wing, the Chelsea winger fell to the ground, clutching his face. Despite Neto’s theatrics, play continued, and Iwobi delivered a pinpoint cross that led to Wilson’s goal.
The commentary team didn’t hold back during the celebrations, exclaiming:
“Yes! Come on! Come on Fulham! It’s Harry Wilson again! Harry the hero! Neto can… clear off. Rolling on the ground holding your face, the cheat!”
Fulham fans took to social media to praise the impassioned commentary.
One fan commented: “Get up ya …. love it.”
Another added: “Commentary is brilliant.”
A third noted the commentator’s intensity, claiming: “Dangerously close to calling Neto a very bad word before the first.”
A fourth fan joked: “Wasn’t ready for the commentator.”
