Christopher Nkunku has shown flashes of brilliance this season, making a strong case for more involvement in Chelsea’s starting XI.

Despite playing nearly half as many minutes as Nicolas Jackson, Nkunku has managed to score 13 goals in all competitions, surpassing Jackson’s total of nine.

While Jackson brings different qualities to the team, Nkunku’s higher potential and impressive efficiency in front of goal make him a player Chelsea cannot afford to lose.

Allowing Nkunku to leave could be a costly mistake for the Blues, as his talent and versatility would undoubtedly make him a star for another major European club. Chelsea must ensure the Frenchman is given a proper chance to showcase his abilities and become a key figure in their attack.

The January transfer window presents an opportunity for manager Enzo Maresca to reassess Nkunku’s role and capitalise on his undeniable talent before it’s too late.
